Sin embargo, un nuevo estudio puso en jaque esta afirmaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En las \u00faltimas horas, un grupo de investigadores de la Universidad de California public\u00f3 en la revista cient\u00edfica&nbsp;Cell Systems&nbsp;un nuevo descubrimiento. Ellos crearon una f\u00f3rmula que&nbsp;compara con mayor precisi\u00f3n las edades de perros y humanos,&nbsp;teniendo en cuenta los cambios que se producen en el ADN a lo largo del tiempo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>C\u00f3mo calcular la edad de los perros<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los autores de este estudio afirman que los canes y las personas envejecen a velocidades distintas. Los cachorros de nueve meses ya alcanzaron la madurez sexual y, por lo tanto, ser\u00eda err\u00f3neo decir que su edad equivale a cinco a\u00f1os humanos en ese momento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan la nueva f\u00f3rmula,&nbsp;un perro de un a\u00f1o de vida tiene una edad humana de 30 a\u00f1os. Sin embargo, esta relaci\u00f3n no es constante. La diferencia se achica con el correr del tiempo. Por eso, cuando&nbsp;el perro llega a los cuatro a\u00f1os, tiene el equivalente de 52 a\u00f1os de edad humana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La f\u00f3rmula para calcular la edad de un perro es la siguiente:&nbsp;edad humana = 16 x ln (edad perruna) + 31,&nbsp;donde \u201cln\u201d se refiere a logaritmo natural.
