Dante Andr\u00e9s Ruggeroni, comenz\u00f3 sus trabajos en el a\u00f1o \u201968 en una c\u00e1tedra de investigaci\u00f3n del ISP N\u00b04 desde donde realiz\u00f3 los primeros trabajos de arqueolog\u00eda junto a los alumnos en quienes supo despertar la inquietud y la cr\u00edtica necesaria para la tarea del investigador.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1970 logr\u00f3 crear el Museo Municipal de Arqueolog\u00eda para exhibir los hallazgos de las excavaciones. Durante la \u00faltima Dictadura Militar (\u201976 \u2013 \u201983) se exili\u00f3 en M\u00e9xico donde coordin\u00f3 tareas de excavaci\u00f3n en templos Mayas y a su retorno volvi\u00f3 a abrir el Museo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la d\u00e9cada del \u201990 trabaj\u00f3 junto al Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n de la Provincia en la elaboraci\u00f3n de \u201cLoakal\u201d, un material para docentes de las escuelas secundarias donde el pasado del norte santafesino se aborda desde una mirada cultural incorporando los registros e investigaciones de las primeras familias de cazadores y pescadores que se remontan a 2000 a\u00f1os atr\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2012, el municipio lo distingui\u00f3 con la imposici\u00f3n de su nombre al edificio propio de la instituci\u00f3n que sostuvo por m\u00e1s de 30 a\u00f1os y desde entonces pasamos a llamarnos Museo Municipal de Arqueolog\u00eda y Paleontolog\u00eda \u201cProf. Dante Ruggeroni\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gener\u00f3 amores y odios. Pero siempre mantuvo el poder de generar curiosidad en sus interlocutores a partir de narraciones que vinculaban constantemente el pasado y el presente en todos los temas que abordaba.
